Payout For Concussion Claim How Long Does It Take For The Payout On A Claim For Pet Insurance?

How long does it take for the payout on a claim for pet insurance? - payout for concussion claim

My dog had surgery and you have paid in advance and for the money (is) other than a deductible, and would like to know how long to wait for payment. I know there are no guarantees when you get your money after a claim on pet insurance, but also aroused the interest to know how long it took people in their own experience?

As a rule, a claim should take 2 to 4 weeks.

Nothing beyond that, and I would call the insurance and the increase in the receipt of calls, if necessary.

It may depend on treatment by the veterinary practice or veterinary referral hospital, the application form.

In general, with Petplan, takes about two weeks after the application has received the check.

However, for large claims is possible, depending on where your dog is treated to a direct request. To make a claim directly to the money is paid directly by the insurance provider for the veterinary practice.

For Trupanion gain an average of one week, but can more or less. You do not know about other companies, but I want to say 4-6 weeks. Depends on who you go through insurance.
